We wanted to snowshoe on the Pineknot trail, but the parking was just impossible. It snowed a day before, and the snow play area was completely full with families with kids. Many cars were parked illegally, and most of them had tickets on their windshield. So we gave up and decided to check into the Timberline lodge, only to discover that the lodge was just down the street. We parked our car there, then just walked up to the trailhead. That was just so sweet!! Super dog friendly, which was a huge plus for us.

The little cabin was great .It had everything you'd need.Parking was amazing. In fact, when I come back I will request the same room.
