The staff, Bec, who is a very passionate and caring person. Thanks very much for her travel tips and her excellent hospitality service. My wife and I spent two unforgettable nights here. The unique location there allows us to experience the quiet atmosphere and to live in the nature with wild animals hanging around just outside the lodge. We also saw the spectacular view of lake and mountains, beautiful sunset and galaxy at night. These two nights definitely will be at our heart forever.

Great location, just outside the park gate. We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was quiet and spacious. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen for cooking. We wanted to stay close to the park to avoid driving 45 minutes to the nearest town. Pricewise this property was most affordable. They have a number of deluxe accommodations that are newly built. I can't speak to the standard accommodations but they looked to be older.

All staff lodge were abundantly welcoming and accommodating all reasonable requests. It’s great to have good well priced food easily accessible. The cabins are clean, well maintained, don’t worry about getting cold-the heaters are amazing. Then you go outside, this is the best kept secret in Tasmania. We wish this lodge all the best because we will be back. And…the visitors centre is right next door. Both the lodge and visitors have all the gifts to take home. Thanks everyone for making our short stay amazing. John & S.
