The whole property was comfortable, full of character, and warm. The footpath up to Casa Ristorante Belvedere from the train station can be challenging with bags, particularly if arriving after dark, but is well worth it. Highly recommended.

The booking confirmation said they only have limited parking space, and it's first come first served. We arrived after 18.00 and there was ample parking space available. The receptionist also showed us the bike storage so we did not have to leave or bikes on the car carrier over night. We booked a room in the lodge and at check in got an upgrade to a bigger room in the hotel. Good breakfast with regional products.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Aves Arosa was a great fit for our family of four. We loved the location on the lake and overlooking the curling/ice skating rink. The bakery next door and grocery store were very convenient, as was the bus to the night sledding. The ski room was adequately designed for enough skiis and boot warmers. And the free washer/dryers were a nice perk.
