Cerro de la Muerte is 15 km from the lodge. La Managua Airport is 79 km away. The location in the mountains is exceptional, as is the view from the cabin balcony. We saw quetzals at cabin 3. We had breakfast at Miriams cafe a few minutes walk uphill and there saw a wonderful array of birds including hummingbirds, acorn woodpeckers, toucan and many more. A delight. Our cabin 0 was wonderful. We loved it.
