nice staff, nice lodge/bar area with hip atmosphere

The location was outstanding - very very peaceful yet vibrant cafes & bars on the doorstep, nearby metro, minutes' walk from the best shops & restaurants and even the river. Beautiful old Budapest apartment building, it felt such a privilege to lodge in someone's cute little home Very cool to return to after extremely hot days out, slept very well indeed

I was able to check in as the owner sent detailed instructions. The facility had an elevator which was needed due to being disabled. The room was a little small because I use a cane. I was still able to get around without bumping into things or injuring myself. Loved this lodging set up, it is like a hostel but not. Self check in, calm and quiet environment, close proximity to many stores and restaurants in close proximity and literally in front of the chain bridge.

The location is excellent. Metro is super close and nice area with lots of things to see. The showers are super hot and bathroom clean. Was very busy and met some really nice people of all ages. The kitchen is kept clean and nice facilities for cooking. I travelled for my birthday and was given a little card and choccy after they checked it was my birthday. That was the only interaction with staff. Fat mama is a nice restaurant. I had 2 beers and a gnocchi and seafood dish for around €18 with happy hour and lodge discount was very nice.

The location was perfect. Budapest is famous for its ruin bars and Maverick city lodge is so close to the most favorite one. And except for this we went to all must see areas by walking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed double room with private bathroom and it is totally cost effective. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

It was my first time to stay in a lodge as a solo traveller. It now set as my baseline! I love the affordability, accessibility and convenience of the place. I definitely recommend this!

They were very nice and friendly. we came to Budapest early morning , they check in us and gave us a available room. A room was very nice and well decorated. Beautiful kitchen, oven, micro oven, fridge and welcome prosecco bottle. They do provide lodge storage room as well. They were are very polite and respectful. we are satisfied and we will definitely back again if we came to Budapest again. All supermarket and Metro station, Tram and bus station are nearby.

Excellent location, easy to get to. There was a microwave, fridge & TV! There is a great supermarket at the end of the road. The place was lovely! Imagine a ski lodge…very cosy.
