The lodge is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful location with its own private beach, offering the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. Every meal was exceptional—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. Our fist meal the evening we arrived was grilled stuffed King Prawns!! One unforgettable detail: while dining, we watched black-tip reef sharks and moray eels gliding beneath us in the water, It was like dining in an aquarium. The staff went above and beyond. When my wife wasn’t feeling well, they brought her meals to her in bed and even made her a soothing homemade ginger tea. Their kindness and attention made all the difference. Special thanks to Bridget, the owner, who was always around and ready to help with anything we needed. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home. As for the diving—absolutely world class. We experienced so many unforgettable moments, including a giant manta ray that hovered above us—a true bucket list moment! Even snorkeling just off the beach was incredible. We genuinely loved everything about our stay. If you're looking for unspoiled beauty, amazing marine life, top-notch service, and unforgettable diving, Tabari Dive Lodge is the place to go. We’re already planning our return! We stayed at the Swiss Belhotel before and after Tabari, it's a perfect transit hotel, clean and convenient. My stay at Aldejus homestay was amazing from the beginning till the end. Right after I've placed my reservation I had some questions and also I needed transport to and fro the airport. The homestay organized everything for me so I could arrive with peace of mind that everything was taken care of. The bungalow itself is clean, very well maintained and lived up to my standard. When it comes to the food, delicious and varied options everyday, food was never the same. Meat, fish, tempeh, they also cater to your individual tastes (vegan,pescatarian, etc.). There's a dive shop nearby - Tarzan diving with whom I did most of my immersions, the region is full of amazing dive sites, that's also what convinced me to stay at Friwen Island: it is remote, gives one the feeling of having landed at the end of the world, however, it is still possible to move around and do extra activities. By the way, the owners of Aldejus organize some trips, it's best to ask them. All in all, a wonderful stay, I can only recommend 👍🏻

The food was very good, the staff were excellent and very helpful any time we needed assistance. Several times they went out of their way to help us. The house reef was fantastic and snorkeling here was definitely a big highpoint of our visit. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone traveling to this area.

Nice small Homestay with very friendly and helpfull stuff. You can Rent a Kajak and go to the Blue River there . The people are so friendly. So get to Know a real authentical indonesian family .

Die Unterkunft Daroyen Village mit Meerblick in Kri bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem eigenen Strandbereich, einer Gemeinschaftslounge, einer Terrasse und Grillmöglichkeiten. Hermann ist der Beste. Er ist sehr engagiert, die ganze Familie ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, man kann alles von ihnen haben. Die Lage des Homestays ist top, das Hausriff ist wunderschön. Die Abholung und Rückfahrt von/nach Waisai klappte super. Das Essen war auch sehr gut und es gab immer Kaffe, Tee und Wasser. Wir buchten vorort auch einige Tauchgänge, die Ausrüstung war in gutem Zustand und der Guide mit Boot inkludiert im Preis für die Tauchgänge. Man konnte zwischen ca 25 Tauchplätzen auswählen und wurde auch während dem tauchen und in den Pausen gut umsorgt. Preis-Leistung unschlagbar.
