Un petit coin de paradis dans la forêt. Personnel très agréable, serviable, à l'écoute,de bon conseil. Repas excellent . Logement atypique au calme,pas un bruit à part celui des animaux. Nous avons même pu voir à 50 m des logements,une mère orang-outan et son petit . Je vous conseille vivement ce logement. Merci encore à toute l'équipe pour sa gentillesse et ses sourires.

Situé à Bukit Lawang, l’établissement Green Travelodge Bukit Lawang comprend des hébergements dotés d’un coin salon. We arrive at midnight, the owner was super kind, welcome us in a happy and warm mood, we had a late diner at their restaurant, their homemade curry. This is not a joke, it was one of the most tasty and delicious curry in our life. The lodge was super super clean, bed was confortable, sleeped well.

We are travelling the world for 3 months and Garden Inn has felt more like home than any other accomodation on our whole trip. The staff go above and beyond, tending to your every need and desire. The hotel provides comfort, the rooms and beds are big, it's curated, so you feel jungle like with rocks and wood inside. Breakfast was amazing!!! Included every day and if we wanted something else they would say sure no problem! We did day trips every day, including orangutan treks where the orangutans were so close yet still wild. Very special! Adi our personal guide took us to all excursions and was exceptional about telling us the story of the village, the rainforest, sustainability efforts, he felt like the village elder and was great speaking English! Thank you Adi!!! Mawan, Rudi and Findo also were the most amazing guides, playing with our 4 and 6 year old boys!!! And making every excursion fun!!! Thank you garden Inn for your hospitality!!!

Situé à Bukit Lawang, l’établissement ORANGUTANTREKSUMATRA & LOVELY JUNGLE LODGE only book IF you are treking with us propose un restaurant. Had the best time here. Initially booked for 1 night and then stayed for another 3! They have options of staying in the village or in the jungle, a tree house. I picked the latter. The place is simple and Udin's family that runs the place is amazing. Balu (Udin's son) was our trekking guide for the day and he was amazing. We saw 3 orangutans (a mama and a baby, and a lone one) along with other monkeys. Udin's wife Nuri cooks the food and every meal was lip smacking delicious. I was happy to be eating home food after my travels. On my last night in the village, Nuri was nice enough to give me a chicken rendang cooking class in her kitchen and then we ate the same dish with the entire family. All in all, if you're doing a Bukit Lawang trip it has to be with this family, or else are you really getting the authentic experience?
