Guests at the lodge can enjoy darts on site, or cycling in the surroundings. We liked the common room where we ate and could sit for conversation. We loved the beautiful views of the mountains and the outside seating that allowed us to enjoy them. We really appreciated Bablu and Rakesh. They did a great job with the food and service, and anything else we needed. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful, restful atmosphere surrounded by a beautiful setting. We didn’t feel the need to leave the property at all except for a walk along the forest road.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything was good, the cottages, the food and hospitality. We had a wonderful time, will recommend the Bonfire at night, it was a wonderful experience.

The staff went above and beyond, even 2 days before we reached the hotel they helped us so much (really appreciated and needed as the hotel we had left was terrible!). The room had a private balcony was really special with the most amazing mountain views , and the cafe was wonderful, we ate there every day. All of the staff who dealt with the visitors were male, but this did not create at uncomfortable environment like I’ve experienced in other hotels in India, a female solo traveller would feel safe here. The location of the hotel was ideal as away from any noise, but not in the middle of nowhere so still felt safe to walk there.

The place is being run by tamang and his team and echor has done a good job in putting things into place. The head cook is very skilled and customizes food according to your tastebuds. Kiran is adept in room services. The cottages and rooms are cozy and very comfortable. The location near the helipad and 2 mins walk from the ancient monastery is amazing. There is no other place like this in a 40 km radius.
