It was so nice working from the rooftop on my laptop each morning, sipping delicious coffee and eating yummy masala omelette. Kala & jilan and the rest of the team are complete legends! L'enregistrement, la gentillesse et la disponibilité du team, la propreté, la literie, les équipements, l'eau chaude disponible 24x7, la tranquillité, wifi, etc... tout est vraiment top. Bien que situé à ~1km du bus stand, idéal pour visiter le Golden Temple de Bylakuppe. Bons restaurants, jus de fruits, boulangeries, commerces et rivière Kaveri très proches. Thé, café, sodas, snacks, glaces disponibles sur place. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

If you are looking for a perfect Coorg vacation home-stay look no further- and here is why. I stayed here for three perfect nights. First, the property is in Coorg's mystical forest-like plantation guest building on a stunning hillside. Mine was the third-level corner room with picture windows opening into the forest treeline view on two sides. It also had a surrounding balcony wrapping the room that hung over the plantation tree lines. You get the feel of living amidst a tree house in a forest. At nights- I closed only the balcony screen door- and slept amidst the buzzing sounds of the night forest from a comfy bed. More amazing was the impeccable service and hospitality of manager/owner Mr. Ginasuddin, his team, and his staff. Mr. Ginasuddin is very helpful person. I am traveling to India for a few weeks. Once I contracted the property and ask for what to do and how. He offered help. It started from pickup to drop-off from Bangalore right after my Friday afternoon meeting from DSI for the three-day getaway. Mr. Rasheed drove me around all the Coorg sites non-stop. For the Naghorhole Tiger Camp visit, he came and picked me up at 4:30 a.m. and drove me through the forests for a 7:30 a.m. tiger safari. He is a master driver with deep knowledge of the area and attractions- and, more importantly, the mountain roads that has blind sharp turns in every few hundred meters. The property served a fresh buffet breakfast. Dinners were made to order from the menu. All are reasonably priced. One day, I picked up irresistible local fern vegetables (see picture) from a local village seller. The cook prepared it to perfection for dinner. This is a remarkable home-stay by all counts.

We only planned a few hours to stay Here after we had a 9 hour taxi drive from Munnar and had to take our sleeperbus at night to Hampi but missed our bus. We came back and immediately got a new room. Such nice staff and an ultra clean room with nice bathroom. As we didnt had a long time in Mysore, but want to visit mysore another time because it looks like a very nice city. And when we will, we book another stay at Mannar’s, that’s for sure!
