A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. Beautiful and very cozy accommodation. They even provide bathrobes. The views are fantastic and the comfy armchairs invite to linger. Very quiet and peaceful. We would have liked to have stayed a bit longer to go on walks and explore the valley. Very good restaurant on site where we booked a delicious dinner and had a good breakfast. The staff was very friendly.

It was much more than we expected. It has everything you want to enjoy your stay there. Town is only 7 minutes by car driving down the road

Isafjordur Airport is 225 km from the property. Cosy cabin with everything we needed for a comfortable night’s stay. The private hot tub was a fab way to wind down after a day of driving & hiking. We’d definitely recommend it to couples or 2 friends on an Icelandic road trip

The lodge offers a terrace. The view is amazing, the cottage is right next to the sea, overlooking kirkjufell. What I must acknowledge is that our van got stuck in snow drift, because the wind the night before was crazy, CRAZY, and the owner helped us get our van unstuck. It wasn’t easy and he didn’t even know if it was going to work, but thankfully it did. That’s why I’m giving them the best rating.
