It's a very tranquille location in a beautiful setting close to a river. The house itself is absolutely amazing, in particular the hot tub on the terrace.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable, warm, well furnished, high quality linens, really fantastic. Everything you need for your stay. It was fine for me, but to note, the bedroom is up some steep stairs (clearly shown in the pictures), and these could be too much for people with limited mobility. I loved the feeling of climbing into the loft to go to a very, very comfortable bed! I loved the location, fantastic for visiting the Westfjords and for Hornstrandir.

A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. What an absolute hidden gem of a place. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel right at home. Guðrún Björg is the sort of host that others simply dream of being. Every single detail has been thought out, she is a warm wealth of information about the area, and someone who truly cares about making your stay and experience as magical as it could be. The meals we enjoyed were also exceptional - lamb sourced from the property, and cod caught by her sons and husband, and freshly made waffles in the morning - what more could you ask for? This place is worth every penny and the view from our cottage was just tops. Go - stay here - relax - enjoy!

Isafjordur Airport is 225 km from the property. The location was great, in the quiet area, the place was very nice and comfortable. Beautiful views. Hot tub was ready to use and it was great to be able to soak in the evening.

Cabin 1 at Lundar Farm is set in Varmaland. This lodge has a garden and free private parking.

Reykjavík Domestic Airport is 102 km from the property. Such a wonderful place, and very friendly host. We didn’t know it was a horse breeding farm, but the kids were so happy when they found out. We loved the area. It’s remote, and our navigation system led us the wrong way first, but it was so worth it. 😀😀😀😀
