Le Lodge Mimitsu is gelegen op 29 km van Totoro-kō en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. This was truly one of the best stays we had in Kyushu. The lodge was spacious and had all the amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. The service was top-notch and its close proximity to the river (where you can swim) made it even better.

This place truly felt like a dream, with a tranquil river, waterfall, luscious greenery and the faint hum of animals and nature. Our stay in the air conditioned treehouse was exceptional, with futons that, while firmer, offered a uniquely comfortable rest. The seclusion of the spot made it feel like a private slice of paradise. The river and waterfall were so serene that I could spend hours simply relaxing on their sun loungers by the edge. There is also a cafe across the river that is run by a wife and husband duo that is only accessible by walking or driving on a path through a scenic rice paddy. It had sushi, pizza, noodles and more that was delicious and worth trying! The lodge also offers a range of riverside activites such as saunas, bike riding, a fire-pit for evening relaxation, and water rafting. The rafting and the peaceful moments floating in the river were core memories from my stay and a must try!

森のフェアリー Cottage Morino Fairy All cotage with open-air bath with sea view or river view ligt op 19 km van Yakusugi Land en biedt een tuin. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and had very clear explanations for everything! She really helped us when we were ill-prepared for the Jomon Sugi hike, which we appreciated a lot! There were complimentary welcome drinks and a dessert on the second day which were delicious. The cabin was clean with all the facilities you could need, plus there was a hose in the front yard for you to clean your hiking shoes. The morning view from the deck was also amazing! Note the accommodation is about 15 minutes drive south of Anbo, so it is a bit out of the way of the main attractions, but it wasn't a big deal as we enjoyed the peace.

Hokkoma Aso Private cottage 1棟貸しコテージ南阿蘇, een accommodatie met een tuin en een terras, ligt in Aso, op 35 km van Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, 45 km van Suizenji Park, en 46 km van Hosokawa Residence... Je hebt even echt je eigen huis met alles erop en eraan. De ontbijt service is top en ze hebben zelfs een projector!

Tsushima Miuda Pension bevindt zich op 2 minuten lopen van Miuda Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een gedeelde keuken. Tsushima Miuda Pension is located next to the beach and the hot springs. The huts are simple, but comfortable and the shower water pressure is great. The kitchen comes with a cooking plate and a rice cooker, which was very convenient for me.

TIDA Resort Yakushima 旧 屋久島海の胡汀路てぃーだ is gelegen in Yakushima in de regio Kagoshima en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en toegang tot een hot tub. Everything about this place is amazing.

Stardust Village Hossyo beschikt over een warmwaterbron en accommodatie met een keuken in Kokonoe. This truly is a gem. Very comfortable accommodation with everything you need. The staff were so thorough to ensure my stay was comfortable. The outdoor bath is one of the best I've experienced in Japan. It's in a beautiful Part of the country and we'll worth a stay. I didn't want to leave

Ginga no Yado Kinoko2seigo bevindt zich in Shimo-tajiri, op 38 km van Aso vulkaan, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. Food is excellent. We booked a dinner and breakfast. It was delicious. And Star observatory camera services on the clear sky day. Private onsen for family and need to book.

Kurokawa Mori no Cottage is gelegen op 41 km van Aso vulkaan en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. The owners were so friendly and nice, they knew we were looking at houses to buy and were excited to show us their beautiful kominka (old Japanese house). We asked about a laundromat in town and they let us use theirs, which was great because the other one closed before 7pm and we would've had to rush back from dinner or our onsen in Kurokawa village. We didn't cook but the kitchen in this cabin was big and perfect for longer stays and cooking meals.

Cottage Yakusugi House ligt in Yakushima, op 11 km van Shiratani Unsuikyo, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. De locatie was prettig en het ophalen en brengen naar het vliegveld.
