Die in der Region Nagano in Kiso gelegene Unterkunft Pension Kaoru bietet kostenloses WLAN und einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz sowie Zugang zu einem Whirlpool. We loved the incredibly delicious food (dinner and breakfast) and the great hospitality of the owner and his wife. Our room was pretty large and had all amenities you need, except an ensuite bathroom. The shared bathroom is clean, large and comfortable with showers and an onsen! If you're lucky you have the bathroom for yourself. Although we had a rental car we stayed nearby the pension to avoid the load of tourists on e.g. the Magome- Tsumago trail. Kaida is a pretty village from where you can hike. The waterfalls trail loop on the way to mount Ontake is beautiful and tranquil as is the whole area around mount Ontake. It's easy to spend 4 days at Kaoru!

Die Unterkunft ist noch recht neu und hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Zimmer sowie das Bad sind verhältnismäßig groß. Im Aufenthaltsraum sowie beim Frühstück mit den anderen Gästen fühlt man sich besonders wohl. Hier gibt es eine tolle Auswahl an Brot, frischem Obst, Eier und Speck, Joghurt etc. Die Haltestelle für den Skibus ist direkt vor der Tür. Sehr praktisch. Am meisten hervorheben möchte ich aber die Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber, so gehörte auch ein Shuttle vom/zum Bahnhof zu Service und auch sonst standen sie mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.

I had a very pleasant stay at Sakka Sanso. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Both meals were excellent—the breakfast was healthy and filling, while the dinner was delicious and satisfying. The bathroom features an onsen, providing a relaxing soak after a refreshing shower. They also provided convenient transportation to and from the station, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hakuba.

The staff accommodated us so well, and went above and beyond our expectations with letting us check in early.

The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Die Pension Tomato liegt 10 Fahrminuten vom Wintersportort Hakuba Happo-One Winter entfernt und bietet geräumige Zimmer im westlichen Stil mit einem Loftbereich. Lovely place to stay on a quiet street in Hakuba a short walk to restaurants and shuttle for skiing. Owners are wonderful people. Extremely helpful and friendly. The private onsen is nice after a day on the slopes.

Einen 10-minütigen Spaziergang vom Skigebiet Happo One entfernt können Sie als Gast des Log Cottage Epoch ein ganzes Cottage mieten. We honestly had the best stay here. A beautiful spot, lovely accommodation, you can walk to the lifts and very friendly hosts. As an aside, our 3 year old had an accident at an indoor playground nearby and Toshi and his wife went above and beyond to look after us and get us medical care for her and let us stay an extra night to make sure she was okay. Thank you very much!

This truly is a fantastic and cozy forest cabin. The entire cabin has a two-story structure above the ground. The interior is very large and spacious, with a generously sized common area where you can find almost everything you could think of, including laundry and drying facilities which are a significant plus. The cabin's indoor space is ample and adequate. I believe even if you don't ski, you could easily spend an entire day here. All the structures inside have been carefully designed by the owners, Neomi and Koki, and are very eco-friendly. After a day of skiing or outdoor activities, you can also book a free session to enjoy the "BIG BATH," a very special private bath experience. The location is very close to the GoRyu ski resort, within walking distance. Furthermore, Neomi kindly drove us to Happo-one on the days when the shuttle service was not available, which was truly great. Moreover, there's no need to worry about transportation between the station and the accommodation, as there's a pickup and drop-off service for check-in and checkout. The custom breakfast was fantastic; we really liked it and highly recommend it. I hope to have the chance to visit this beautiful cabin again in the future.
