民泊高野展望台 ligt in Kumakogen, op 3,7 km van Daiho-ji Temple en 11 km van Kaiganzan Iwaya-ji Temple, en biedt een terras en airconditioning. We had our own little house to herself. I wish we had known that we could cook. We would’ve brought heaps with us because we had our own kitchen. The views were outstanding. We were shocked when we arrived. It is definitely out of the way but for us who were doing the 88 temples driving was perfect wouldn’t suggest this for someone who was walking. The bath and shower facilities were out of this world.

宝泉坊ロッジ heeft een binnenzwembad, een sauna en accommodatie met airconditioning en gratis WiFi in Kami-ōno, op 17 km van Mishima Shrine. Er is ook een koelkast en waterkoker aanwezig. The staff are super courteous and give you a real sense of Japanese culture. Our room was large and had a lovely view onto the river. Free coffee and soft drinks, and an onsen was included (we didn't even need to use the shower in our room). Really great value for the service we received!
