The reception was superb, the staff were very attentive and helpful, the facility was very much to our liking, the overall ambience was superb and of course, the living quarters and food was excellent.
If I may, there were memorable people who made our stay comfortable. This include Harrison who attended to our food needs and was most pleasant. I cannot forget Doyo also, who while is a security personnel at the resort, was most helpful with his vast knowledge the premises and fauna residing within it.
With mountain views, The Great Circle Lodge is set in Nanyuki and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Free WiFi is featured.

this place is a wonderful place to be! as soon as you arrive it feels like coming home, very familiar, as you are close to other guests and the hosts you feel extremely welcome
the garden is lush, the whole area is very inspiring whether you are seeking for some adventure or for retreat
throughout the day you can gaze towards Mt. Kenya from several spots, either on a horse or from your breakfast table ;)
definitely a place to come back!!

Very good - What previous guests thought, 23 reviews
It was so tranquil - ideal for chilling out, reading or writing, as I was doing
The staff are super helpful and make what you fancy to eat to order
You can arrange a hike on the mountain or a local safari. I spoiled myself with a day pass to Mount Kenya Safari Club to visit the animal orphanage and swim.
Purity's Jack Daniels Cocktail by the fire was great.
Good and reasonably priced acomodation with waterhole in front of most tents, good restaurant, swimming pool. Very good point to start self drive safaris in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, however we found western areas 7 - 10 km behind the bridge, along the river the most interesting.
We had first stayed at Naro Moru Lodge 40 years ago and it has hardly changed. It is a beautiful relaxing place. The staff were delightful and very helpful and the food was good.
