Lots of animals around, monkeys jumping on the trees ( but not disturbing) peacocks running, squirrels etc The food is very good - u have to try breakfast and dinner. Hightly recommend

Silent beach was our favourite in all is Sri Lanka. The property was set back in nature and we loved the mornings listening to the sounds and seeing the different animals. Also, a short tuk tuk ride to the surf beach in Hiri. The host was super helpful easy to communicate with. He also gave us a lot of space (which isn’t always the case in Sri Lanka). If we ever visit Sri Lanka again we will be back!

The ambience at the chalet is calm and peaceful, in an exotic garden with open views to the bird sanctuary and Taragala Rock, which is a 10 minute walk away and perfect for watching the sun go down with no sounds except for birds and the sea. The chalet was tastefully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean.
