Photos hardly do this place justice, unlike other places in Sri Lanka i feel it exceeds what you think it would be.Cloud resort was 100% our favorite accommodation and location on our 2 week visit to Sri Lanka. It is the most beautiful location with breathtaking views, our room had a panoramic view of the valley, which we could see from our bed. Sunset and sundown, such a spoil. Our private butler brought meals to our room, we were treated like royalty. We only stayed 2 nights, we were on a tight schedule, but it is the kind of place you should stay a minimum of 5 nights. The mountain walks to whatch the sunset, the pinawala is super close , the old tea factory is amazing, and just finding peace for your soul. The rooms are incredible, every small detail was crafted and curated by the owners ( family), and is such a treat to discover all the attention to detail and thoughtful comforts. Our bed was a highlight, it was a swing suspended from the ceiling, we have never slept so well being gently rocked to dream land. Inthi was an an incredible host, gave us lots of privacy, but always there if we needed anything. He was super helpful with directions, excursions, and just general info and the history of Sri Lanka. I loved meeting him. Butttt all this said...... the food!!!!!! Oh my word is was blown away, up to this point of our travels the food never blew me away....... but I would definitely recommend having all your meals there. It was beautiful, fragrant, and delicious!!!!!!!!! One of our top stays we have ever been to by far. If you are lucky enough to read my review, don't hesitate to book, you will fall in love, like we did

We had an amazing one-night stay at Tedro Homestay and would absolutely give them 5 stars! The room was spotless and very well maintained, making it super comfortable. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that they value people more than money, which made the experience feel so genuine and heartfelt. The breakfast was also really delicious and freshly prepared. Such wonderful, kind people. I’d highly recommend Tedro Homestay to anyone looking for a clean, cozy stay with the friendliest hosts!

Great view and great location. Not too far from city centre but far enough to enjoy quiet and peace. Punya and Ravi are amazing hosts! They ensured we had everything and the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend them if you are staying in Kandy!

This is a carefully designed small cottage. Compact but very comfortable. Out door sitting areas, stoned carved seats and bath tubs, swings, tree house nets. Kids loved it. We loved the peaceful nature and the calm environment.

We had a wonderful stay at Avons Residence Hanthana! The location was peaceful with beautiful surroundings, offering a perfect escape from the busy city life. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Mr.Sanjaya was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The breakfast was delicious (we had milk rice and string hoppers, breakfast comes with a fruit plate as well), and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

Mit einer Terrasse und Bergblick, ist die Unterkunft Solitary Cottage Dunhinna gelegen in Teldeniya, 25 km von Internationales Cricketstadion Pallekele und 38 km von Bogambara-Stadion entfernt. This place was just amazing, best part of our Sri Lankan road trip! It’s situated high up in the mountains with beautiful views and no people around. It’s so peaceful. I wish we could stay for weeks. The cottage is so comfy and well equipped. Erik, the owner, is great. He speaks really good English, always replies right away and organises anything you need. We had an old car and had hard times driving in the mountains so he organised parking spot for as and tuk to take us to the cottage. He also organised great guides to take us to Knuckles five peak trek. There is a dog Rocky who is super cute and friendly, making sure you’re safe during your stay. I highly recommend to order rice and curry too, it was so delicious!
