Very much in the heart of nature. A spacious room. The breakfast was good and substantial. Sadeepa, the hosts' son, helped me a lot. He advised on the walks up both Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rocks. As he had a tuk tuk it was easy to get to each of the Rocks to do a sunrise walk. He kindly came early in the morning to pick me up and charged a fair rate. Sadeepa also helped me to get my laundry done and was a great help, which made my stay very easy and pleasant.

Fantastic place where I particularly particularly loved the terrace, the magnificent garden (so many species of plants, birds and animals!) and the breakfast. You will never find a better and more service minded host than Udika. Always smiling and singing. A truly happy place to stay. Walking distance to the centre ant to the Lion Rock, but not recommended walking about in the dark due to the wildlife.

We stayed there for a night and booked this location due to wonderful comments about its owner and location. And it is absolutely true. It is a small yet lovely hotel and also just 5 mins tuk tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rocks. Also very easily accessible to city center and restaurants. The owner is a fine gentleman and really friendly. We forgot our two bags and realised after we got call from hotel and we were around 20 kms away. The owner sent the bags via tuk tuk and did not accept cash for this extra effort done by them. We were really grateful to them.
