My mom and I stayed for two nights, as we wanted to explore the south beach area of the island and visit different beaches. The place felt more like a personal home than a hotel, with a marvelous location right in front of the beach, a beautiful swimming pool, and a welcoming reception area. The staff were incredibly attentive, providing excellent service and even surprising us with complimentary treats like mocktails and delicious ice cream while we relaxed by the pool. It truly felt like a peaceful oasis. The breakfast was spectacular possibly the best we had during our entire 10-day trip in Sri Lanka with a wide variety of options to choose from. The room was always immaculate and spacious, featuring a very comfortable bed and all the amenities needed to meet every requirement. It genuinely felt like being in our own vacation home. We will definitely return if we visit Sri Lanka again and I highly recommend this accommodation .

A water park is also available for guests at the lodge. We had a wonderful stay at Sinharaja Kurulu Ella! The view from the room was mesmerising! We saw tropical birds and monkeys whilst eating delicious meals. The hosts were lovely and passionate about the nature, animals and reptiles that we could find in the forest surrounding the hotel. The guided tour in the rainforest is also something we would recommend. The guide had in depth knowledge about what we could find and see in the forest! We would highly recommend a stay at the eco resort.

I liked the location, the view, the room (ac was working perfectly, hot water, comfortable bed). The homemade food they were making was tasty and also reasonable priced. Also by the river seeing crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys and comodo dragon was fascinating.

Hummanaya Blow Hole is 5.5 km from the lodge, while Weherahena Buddhist Temple is 18 km away. Koggala Airport is 53 km from the property. our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Wonderful place close to the beach, but still quiet and secluded. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Several bungalows are hidden in green, vast area so you feel isolated from other guests. The pool is great :). Breakfasts are diversified, so every day you can try different meal. Walking distance, 3 min., to Midigama center. We will most ceirtainly come back!

Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or river views. the views from the room/balcony are incredible. comfy beds, great food. Our stay was made extra comfortable by the lovely family running it. Massive thank you to Dumith & Pathma for making our stay one to remember.

The lodge offers a terrace. Absolutely loved this place. The beautiful beach was just across the road. We had a very comfortable stay with all the facilities in the house. And the family owners were very nice. It’s the one of the beautiful guesthouses that I will definitely come back !
