The food was delicious! We recommend choosing the local food options. Also the rainforest tour they organize is really special and recommendable! We loved it. Also the waterfall at the property is more than beautiful!

Koggala Airport is 53 km from the property. our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

Guests at the lodge can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Owner is super nice. Place is about 20 mins walk to the center through the jungle but you won’t get an amazing view anywhere else. The place is literally surrounded by paddies and you can see the train from the balcony. Bed is very comfortable and room is huge. If you’re not down for a small walk, the owner can arrange a scooter for you for cheap price. Highly recommend.
