Great hospitality, and prime location to Udawale national park, and just down the road (3 min drive) from the Elephant Transit Home. The room was just like the pictures, and the surrounding forest and river are magical. We even encountered some monkeys on the property which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was filling and delicious, a combination of traditional Sri Lankan sweets and breakfast foods with fruit. The owner and workers are incredibly courteous, offered some good safari deals, and even showed us some of the cinnamon, curry leaves, and pepper plant which are all on their property. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in the area! Extremely reasonable price.

Cet hôtel a été la meilleure surprise de notre séjour de 2 semaines au Sri Lanka ! Un accueil trop sympa de l’hôte, qui nous attendait avec un dîner près pour les enfants. Nous avions une chambre double au rez de chaussée et la chambre (4 couchages) juste au dessus. La chambre à l’étage était trop chouette, les enfants ont adoré. Elle s’ouvre complètement sur l’extérieur, ambiance safari ! Petit hôtel de 5 chambres, très charmant, salle de bain simple mais propre et fonctionnelle. Petit déjeuner au top, le meilleur de notre séjour, le tout pour un prix imbattable !

Our second time to udawalawa and can not fault anything with respect to our stay at jungle safari cottage and our safaris within the park. hotel offers outstanding service and excellent food. On top of that its conveniently located near the park.

The rooms are simple and clean, set in a lush, green environment close to the safari. The place is absolutely beautiful — right in the middle of the jungle — and what makes it even more special is the kindness of the owners. Madhu gave us a wonderful cooking class; she’s an exceptional chef! The rice and curry were delicious, the Sri Lankan lunch was incredible, and even the safari picnic was perfect. This place is a true delight for the eyes, the heart, and the taste buds.

We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.

This place is INCREDIBLE!! Kasun the owner is one of the nicest guys ever - so kind, helpful and goes above and beyond to assist in every need. Watermelon on arrival, fresh coconut on departure, organised safari, prepared yummy breakfast included in the price, relaxed check out timing....the list goes on! The villa was stunning, way better than the pictures. The garden is stunning and my son loved running around discovering all the plants, wildlife and fruits. Do not hesitate to book - would book again without a doubt. Thank you so much Kasun ❤️

We were undecided about our National Park visit. We saw the evaluations for nature glow had, and it turned out they were 100% accurate. They organized a driver to pick us up and Ella and drive us to their magical accommodation. There are two accommodation villas located on a rise of land above a small creek entering a larger river. It's very much in the jungle with wildlife abounding. The air conditioning, which was important to us worked very well, and the bed, room and bathroom were all very good. Our hosts arranged for a safari driver for the two of us. The next morning we are up early and went on Safari in the national park. We saw many many elephants, both solo and in groups of females with their babies. And we also saw a variety of other wildlife. For us Sri Lankan food was a new experience. I fully recommend that you arrange to have your breakfast and dinner at the villa. The dishes were authentic and delicious. We were treated to a variety of different Sri Lankan food. Our host were wonderful people. They took pride and doing everything possible to make our stay as comfortable enjoyable and interesting as possible.
