We parked the car at the lake and walked up to the accomodation through the woods. We ensured we started the walk in time so we would be at the accomodation at 6 pm, to not have to walk in the dark. Once there we were welcomed by the beautiful sunset, the warm fire stove and the very welcoming and genuine host. She made us feel at home right away. We ate a delicious dinner with homemade bread, cheese, soup, etc. Breakfast was also delicious with homemade bread and cheese, baked potatoes, baked meat, fruit jam, apples, etc. We slept in a very cosy cabin and were supplied with enough blankets to keep us nice and cosy after a hot shower. This accomodation is definitely worth the hike!

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Katun Potoci is a little gem of warmth and hospitality. The place is constituted of a set of wooden buildings entirely constructed by the family, layed on a gentle meadow which hosts vegetable gardens and sheds for the animals (dogs may bark at night). Although the rooms are quite small and toilets are external, everything is peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing. Everyone is wonderful to talk to and eager to communicate across linguistic barriers, sharing stories over heart-warming home cooked food coming directly from the farm. Our experience here has been a faboulous tale of genuine participation and unpretentious beauty.

There is also a stovetop, toaster and a kettle. We booked Villana Rosa very last minute. The house is a 3-apartment complex that shares a common basement entertainment area, with a sauna, jacuzzi, pool table, and a workout room. They managed to get our apartment ready in 15 minutes. The entire place was spotless, rustic, and spacious. The kitchen area was fully stocked, and the staff will even start a fireplace for you if you like. If we could, we would stay longer, and we genuinely started planning a trip to Kolasin just to stay here again.

The family is so kind and hospitable! The location is on the road between Mojkovac and Bieljo Polije. It's also convenient to Jezero Biogradska.

The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the location is great. You can order dinner or breakfast as well or have a few drinks in the evening. Mara makes excellent fruit syrup for refreshing drinks and you can also have home made raki.
