Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater.

Some units feature a terrace and / or a patio with sea or garden views. The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

Set atop a 100 metre hill overlooking the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve, The Last Frontier Boutique Resort is located in Bilit, and is located a 2 hour drive from the beautiful Sandakan.

This property features rooms that provide towels and bed linen. The en suite bathroom comes with free toiletries. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Firstly the staff were the nicest bunch of people, who genuinely care that the guests have a great trip, and are passionate about the environment and the wildlife. Secondly, this is the only place in the area actually inside the jungle, rather than on the river. And that matters because you're much more likely to see an Orang utan in the wild staying here. We were lucky enough to see one, and the guys running the place were overjoyed for us. It was a truly breathtaking moment. And we saw monitor lizards and Hornbills causally wandering/ flying around. The guys running the place could not do enough for us. Also the food was great, and included. Travel is quite a hobby for me, I have been travelling the world regularly for over 30 years now and I have stayed in a lot of places, from luxury hotels to eco-resorts etc. This rates as high as any experience I have had anywhere. I wish there were more places run this well and with this much passion in the world.

Situated in Kinabatangan in the Sabah region, Borneo Jungle Adventure features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Chinese, Malaysian and Grill BBQ cuisine. Vegetarian and halal options can also be requested. The rooms are ok, but really in the middle of the jungle and just in front of the river The best part about the place is Lynda, she is like a living documentary she just wanted to show us all the animals in there and we saw them, Rhyno hornbill, elephants, crocodile and basically all the kind of monkeys we could see, just an amazing experience with her being the best guide possible The food was really good too and also the experiences out of the normal package I really recommend the night cruise, is something amazing being in that river in a small boat at night Loved it! Thanks Lynda, thanks Nine, thanks tenten!

The breakfast offers buffet, à la carte or American options. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Steakhouse, local and Asian cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Beautiful resort and great value for money. Large, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Food is of good standard, and location is amazing, being in-between the RDC and Orangutan and Sunbear Sanctuaries (as long as you are happy being in the middle of nowhere). Good wifi connection and signal, and amazing staff members

Located in Kudat, Tampat do Aman provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant.

If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a car rental service. Howard was so passionate and informative, he went above and beyond to make this a great stay for us. Nothing was too much trouble and his family were so welcoming and hospitable. The lodges are a great location in the jungle, but also a 25 minute walk to the beach. It's an interesting but also peaceful environment to spend a few days exploring the area. The beach walk recommend by Howard was amazing, it's like paradise!
