We were welcomed as we walked in to this beautiful camp. The accommodations were very comfortable and the communal spaces and dining area were beautifully located and decorated with typical African art. Anke went above and beyond to take care of our dietary restrictions. The food was delicious.

The sunset boat cruise is a MUST with Marshal doing a great job. He could answer ALL our questions and made the stay more memorable

The Ndhovu Safari Lodge serves breakfast and dinner which can be taken in the restaurant. Packed lunches are available on request. The lodge also has an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, and laundry facilities. Of all the lodges we stayed at in Namibia, Ralf’s Lodge @Ndhovu was hands-down, and by far the best, most authentic, most hospitable, biggest bang for the buck! What makes a huge difference as we’ve discovered with all of our lodges, are those that are owner occupied, always give you much better service, and that is what you will find here! Also, the fact that they have two offerings waterside in essentially house, booths, are the only ones on the Kavango River that offered this amenity. We were in River side one, an outside our deck on the water, was a bloat of hippos numbering probably a couple dozen! What a joy, and treat watching this bloat frolic in the water and do their thing until 10 AM more or less, when they headed to the opposite side of the river, to graze and sunbathe, always returning an hour or so before dusk, to entertain us once again! The vibe is very relaxed at this camp, which makes a huge difference. It’s easy to mingle with other guests, make friends, enjoy Rolf’s staff, and his company, especially the fire pit after dinner each night!

Chobe Water Villas is an exclusive boutique lodge located at the eastern tip of the Zambezi region. Privately situated within the 150km² Kasika Conservancy, the lodge sits directly on the banks of the Chobe River, offering unobstructed views of the renowned Chobe National Park and Sedudu Island, opposite Kasane, Botswana. We spent 2 wonderful days at Water Villas, liked everything, the delicious food, the extremely friendly staff, especially Kelvin, the captain on the boat, Joy, the lady, who explained us what we should order for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Josephine, who were with us on our two boat tours and always had a smile in her face. We were the only guests, felt like kings in France in this wonderful calm and peaceful landscape on the Namibian side of Chobe river and enjoyed really each second. Sorry, Joel, somedays we will come back ….

A barbecue is available for guests to use at Kazondwe Camp and Lodge. Very nice family run lodge in a impressive natural environment. Very friendly an highly competent staff. Excellent food at the restaurant. Perfect base for excursions in the surrounding national parks.

Set on the banks of the Okavango River, Shametu River Lodge offers views of the Popa Falls and is 6.5 km from Divundu. Free private parking is available on site.

Shametu River Lodge also includes an outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Great welcome. Absolutely fantastic for birds and wildlife. Could easily spend hours enjoying the stunning view from the room and grounds. Everyone friendly and helpful, the manageress was lovely, coming to speak with us at meals. Sundowner Boat trip fabulous, great guide. To have the amazing Mahangu Core Reserve only 15 minutes away was excellent, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo and so much more. The food was delicious, catering for our vegetarian diet. For birders the views of Rock Pratincoles just incredible, I saw over 150 species of bird in a day in this area. Would love to return again.
