Das Bad ist einfach, aber sauber und es werden sehr gutes Duschgel und Shampoo zur Verfügung gestellt. Früh morgens wird der Ofen hinterm Haus für Warmwasser angeheizt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die tolle Bar beim Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein. Alles in allem ein tolles Afrikafeeling!

Die Unterkunft Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp besticht durch einen ganzjährig geöffneten Außenpool in Khorixas und besticht außerdem mit kostenlosem WLAN und einem kostenlosen Privatparkplatz für Gäste,... excellent location to explore twyfelfontein and the Damaraland with its elephants. Breakfast and dinner with game meat from the Braai was excellent. The sundowner spot was the perfect spot for the apero.

Huab lodge is one of those places that will stay in your memory for a long time. The drive to it is a bit off the beaten track, through gates and over a few small dry river beds. But once there, gosh! Peace. Except for the birds, the insects, Deon and Lidia's welcome, this is the life! Then the rooms. Glorious. No frilly gold plated stuff. Don't expect bling. Just comfort. Great views, spacious, great bathrooms. This is an ecolodge so no hairdriers or aircon. But they are not needed. Relax. Great food, proper hospitality, the night sky... worth it for nightjars and stars alone. And then the desert elephant safaris... just go there.

We spent two fantastic days in this mountain camp, surrounded by peaceful nature. A special thanks goes out to the chef Marysne who surprised us with delicious dinners out of nowhere. They have just taken over this place and we were last minute guests, nevertheless she could manage to put together amazing meals. Mongetti, our host, new in his role did a great job to welcome and look after us. The location is exceptional, nearby the touristic attractions, you need a car, organ pipes, burned mountains, Twyfelfontein site and elephant safari (strongly recommended, much less busy than etosha). At the back of the camp, on the top of the hill you can see a stunning sunset. I would definitely come back.
