Each of Feriehus Vollsnes’s options feature one bathroom with biotoilet, shower and hairdryer and a seating area with sofa. All have a fireplace and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. A dishwasher and washing machine provide further comfort. A wonderful place to stay for at least two days. The house is very cozy and the hosts are extremely friendly. There is a beautiful waterfall nearby, and several other charming spots can be reached quickly by car. We were even able to see the Northern Lights right from the accommodation. The indoor sauna in our apartment was excellent, and there is also an option for an outdoor sauna with a stunning view of the fjord.

The property feels very fresh, with all the equipment and fittings being modern, high-quality, and well maintained. Everything was spotless and clean, which made the stay extra comfortable. The design is sleek yet cozy, and the riverside location adds a very relaxing vibe—you can really unwind while enjoying the scenery. There’s also a comfortable outdoor seating area with a fire pit, which made the evenings extra special. Sitting by the fire with the river beside you was an amazing experience.

Enjoyed the views, canoeing on the lake, hikes out the back door and the peace and quiet. Our hosts, Lucie & Paul were lovely and made planning our stay incredibly easy. It is spacious and clean. It has everything you need. Even a dryer for your laundry which is really handy with the Norwegian weather. The master bedroom’s bed is comfortable and the pillow is good as well.
