The jacuzzi and sauna are completely new and beautiful. The canteen is great with delicious food and very helpful hosts. The place is located in a magical scenery that almost feels like a valley between mountains. When in camp, we saw the most Aurora that we have across our 7-night stay in Norway. We loved it and will recommend it to everyone!!!!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The location was exceptional! Staff were so friendly and helpful! The kids loved the pizzas at the restaurant! Loved being so close to the sea it was perfect for a morning dip! 🥰

Guests at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge can enjoy a buffet breakfast. The staff were super helpful and answered all our questions. We booked experiences and transport ahead of time and everyone was great at communicating and confirming our bookings. The food was super tasty and customised to my allergies. Also the atmosphere was super cosy.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. Lovely small room. We stayed here 2 nights and this was the perfect amount to experience the area and lodge properly. Fantastic staff and lovely evening meals. Obviously, the highlight is the 50+ dogs on the property!

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. This is the best choice for accommodation in Alta. For the first moment, we felt like home. - kind, very friendly and full of professional approach by the staff - spacious room & bathroom, cozy decoration - exceptionally clean room / bathroom - tasteful breakfast and unique dinner (many choices for wine) - yard is full of green and flowers and there are benches everywhere to enjoy your coffee under the sun - there is a bar and a bakery within the property - do not miss the activities with the dogs - bio & ethical approach of their activities/facilities Really, I hope to visit this place again - highly recommended !
