The snow gear provided was of excellent quality, keeping us warm and allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning surroundings. The sauna was a cozy haven, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the Northern Lights for two consecutive nights—a breathtaking display we’ll never forget. Adding to the magic, we spotted two wild moose during our stay, a surreal moment that truly connected us to the untamed beauty of the area. A special thanks to Thomas, the owner, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. He helped us find exciting activities and ensured we felt welcome every step of the way. The setting of the campsite is beyond words—raw, wild, and incredibly beautiful. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of the Arctic, this is the place to be. All units come with a terrace with sea views, a kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower. An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Our stay went flawlessly. The location and it’s view, the cabin and it’s equipment,… Everything was spot on. We needed some help and Sarah, our point of contact, did an awesome job at solving our little problem. Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. Trina our hostess was excellent and very accommodating.Kamil was a great tour guide and all the huskies were a real pleasure.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. Best accommodation we had during our trip to Nordkapp. Dinner and Breakfast was excellent! There is so much love and detail in everything.
