From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and hardworking staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. The facilities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and adventurous stay in the Arctic wilderness. The snow gear provided was of excellent quality, keeping us warm and allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning surroundings. The sauna was a cozy haven, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the Northern Lights for two consecutive nights—a breathtaking display we’ll never forget. Adding to the magic, we spotted two wild moose during our stay, a surreal moment that truly connected us to the untamed beauty of the area. A special thanks to Thomas, the owner, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. He helped us find exciting activities and ensured we felt welcome every step of the way. The setting of the campsite is beyond words—raw, wild, and incredibly beautiful. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of the Arctic, this is the place to be. We wholeheartedly recommend this camping experience to anyone seeking adventure, relaxation, and a chance to witness some of the most spectacular sights on Earth. Don’t miss it!

With mountain views, Aurora Fjord Cabins is set in Lyngseidet and has free WiFi.

All units come with a terrace with sea views, a kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower. An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Our stay went flawlessly. The location and it’s view, the cabin and it’s equipment,… Everything was spot on. We needed some help and Sarah, our point of contact, did an awesome job at solving our little problem. We were delighted and so will you. 👌

Cabin by the river features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Storslett.

All units come with a terrace with sea views, a kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower. For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. So it has a sauna with mountain view near the river , and a small hut for barbecue also near the river. The apartment -house is so beautiful and has everything. From the 15 days road trip this has been our best accommodation. Would definitely recommend

Hiking can be enjoyed nearby. A beautiful loft apartment, in the middle of nowhere… cozy, comfortable, with amazing view to the river, and a very gorgeous friendly host. The hot tub was brilliant to sit in the night and find the northern lights!

Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, skiing and fishing. Very cozy apartment and a warm welcome. Complete package: great and extensive facilities, including jacuzzi, fire place, TV (channels) and not to forget the coffee machine with beans. Beautiful views from the windows. Rustic place serves great as base camp for relaxing or (outdoor) activities.

Lovely, serene atmosphere with incredible sea view. Thoughtful service and beautifully presented delicious food completed the visit.

Boasting a garden, Senja arctic lodge offers accommodation in Stonglandseidet with free WiFi and mountain views. Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as skiing and cycling. The lodge was really cosy with plenty of space for kids to play both indoors and outdoors. Kathlin was very accommodating and answered questions on time. The view out to the lake was amazing and you could enjoy the Northern Lights from the comfort of the lodge.

Vannøy Sport og Havfiske features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Vannvåg.

The accommodation comes with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer, while the kitchen has a fridge, a dishwasher and an oven. A stovetop is also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle.

A terrace is available on site and skiing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Where do we even start, the host was absolutely lovely! As soon as we arrived off the ferry to the island we were warmly greeted by Hilde who collected us, drove us to the cabin and helped us get settled (we also saw some reindeer on the way haha). She also very kindly loaned is a pair of snow shoes and sticks each and advised us on the best place to take our midday walk. The next day she drove us to the local shop and the sauna which is just so lovely and so relaxing! She also informed us that she would be driving into Tromsø the next morning, offered to take us along too as we wanted to go in to see the reindeer before we left and she even sent us the link to a magical experience! The cabin is also beautifully located meaning that we got to see the auroras on our last night, the neighbours also gave us some advice on the best way to see them and Hilde took the most lovely photo of us with the auroras in the background. The cabin is also very comfortable and came with everything we needed to gook the food we got from the local supermarket. Honestly, such a lovely cabin with probably the warmest host I have ever had - I would highly recommend and would love to visit again :)
