The lodge is easy to locate and quiet, the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed with wide open views. There was a warm welcome from Mary. The do_it_yourself breakfast spread was great with cooking facilities if you want to make an evening meal, too.

The guest suite is warm and spacious with private access and covered parking for your car. It is part of a beautiful architecturally built property set amongst native plantings with amazing views of the mountains.
All of the fittings are of the highest standards, and with the access to laundry facilities, means you can comfortably stay for as long as you need to unwind.
Annette is really welcoming and was there to help us with everything we needed.
Thank you for a memorable visit, we hope to come again next year!

Sam was so informative. The views were absolutely amazing wish we had booked a longer stay. The view from our outside patio was to die for.
We feel privileged to have stayed there.

Exceptional welcome by the host! We got a lot of information about the area and details about stargazing which was possible from the lawn directly besides the property (weather dependent though, we had a super clear night). The location was amazing, directly opposite the lake with great views (perfect for a stroll and run along the lakeside). The well known Church of the Good Shepard is either a few minutes drive or 15 minute walk away. The room was very clean and we felt comfortable throughout the whole stay! Would definitely stay here again!

It’s a nice lodge in the cook village. Honestly speaking more cost-effective one compared to the fancy hotel. I liked the smell of their soap. The shared kitchen and common area has magnificent view of the snowy mountains! Have plenty of kitchenware and space for food in the fridge. There are quite a few parking space up front.
If you staying in cook village, better bring your own ingredients for cooking or instant food. Cuz there isn’t that many place that sell food here and not many options.

Wonderful stay at Pukaki Air Lodge. Very comfortable and great views from every window.
Well equipped to a very high standard, spotlessly clean everywhere. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Mary gave us a warm welcome and was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the Air Lodge to anyone.
The lodge was absolutely incredible to stay in! Amazing views out of our room of the duck pond and the mountains in the background. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with an amazing spa bath in the bathroom. Mel was the most amazing host and made us feel so welcome, and went out of her way to help - including dinner recommendations and ten serving us breakfast earlier than scheduled due to an early start. We wish we could have stayed for longer than our 1 night!

Great friendly staff who greeted us and answered all our questions about the area. The lodge with the lake view is absolutely stunning, I was blown away! The room was lovely and a very comfortable bed!

The shower was very good, the bed and pillows comfortable and the view towards the mountains was excellent. We ate in the main Lodge on two occasions with Luke, his wife Kaye and other guests which was very enjoyable. We attended a cooking demonstration with hufa which was excellent and was followed by a lovely lunch.
Luke the owner was very prompt in coming to discuss all our concerns but couldn’t change anything, he offered the cooking demonstration and the opportunity to eat in the main lodge with him, which we accepted.
