I felt very comfortable in your accommodation; everything was new and perfectly prepared. The large glass front overlooking the pasture and the mountain range was the most beautiful feature. It’s 5 minutes to Waihi town and to Gold Discovery Center, less than 15 minutes to Karangahake Gorge, to Hauraki Heritage Train, to Waihi Beach, and Bowentown. Hobiton and the route to the Coromandel Peninsula are less than an hour's drive away. Next time I’d stay more days.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. Max is a great host, but it sounds like his boss drives him pretty hard,(he probably needs the structure). Lovely home with comfortable rooms overlooking a beautiful setting. It's a little slice of heaven.

Mystery Creek Events Centre is 45 km from the lodge, while Garden Place Hamilton is 27 km away. Hamilton Airport is 35 km from the property. ‘Do it yourself’ breakfast was just right! Everything we needed.. The trails on the farm, including a beautiful river path, were a real bonus!
