Incline Cottage is located in Upper Hutt, 41 km from Westpac Stadium, and provides a balcony, garden, and free WiFi. Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and cycling. This place could NOT have been more adorable. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we’d made a great choice. And we were SO bummed to only be able to stay one night— we would’ve happily stayed far longer. Here’s what we especially liked: 1) Very cute decor inside. Not just thrown together: it’s clear that real thought went into making it attractive and welcoming. 2) Spotlessly clean throughout. 3) Heat lamp in the bathroom, so you’re warm when you exit the shower. 4) Great shower! 5) Excellent kitchen— full size everything. 6) Some provisions on hand for you to use, including milk, coffee, sugar, etc. 7) There’s a beautiful little private back porch that looks down over a forested hillside. There are also horses and chickens in the yard— very cute. 8) The place is completely self-contained. You have your own private house to yourself. 9) Belinda, the owner, is great. She messaged me the day before my arrival to give me explicit instructions on how to find the place and where my key would be. I didn’t have to see anyone to check in and out. All in all, we LOVED this place. 10/10. Would stay again!

The lodge offers an à la carte or continental breakfast. We felt absolutely spoiled. We were welcomed with open arms. The staff were outstanding, informatve and very friendly. Although the dinner menu was very limited the quality was 5 star. Accommodation was absolutely immaculate and so comfortable. Will definitely be back even though it was a bit pricey.

Hataitai Beach is 2.8 km from the lodge, while Wellington Zoo is 1.5 km away. Wellington Airport is 4 km from the property. Opposite the hospital was great for visiting a patient. Very comfortable bed. Although near a busy road it did feel peaceful when inside with door closed Helicopters landing on the helipad at the hospital were very loud for a short time - and quite fun to watch. The kitchen was very good with a sink, fridge, stove top etc. we provided most of our own meals. Very helpful staff - friendly and willing to help. I liked the stairs for exercise - initially I puffed but it got easier.

The Boulcott Lodge is located 5 minutes’ drive from historic Petone and is only 15 minutes from central Wellington. It is just a 5-minute walk to both Boulcott Hospital and Hutt Hospital.

Great location very clean and modern design rooms and quality furnishings. Great kitchen facilities with excellent free coffee pods I particularly appreciated a table so I could work and enjoy meals
