HortResearch is 50 km from the lodge. Kapiti Coast Airport is 24 km away. I was travelling to New Zealand with my sister to see our brother and flying down to the South Island from Wellington. Anam Cara is about 45 minutes drive, so we decided to stay somewhere peaceful, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Everything about the place is top quality, and it's set in remarkably well maintained grounds. Don't hesitate to book.

Sufficiently close to Upper Hutt but far enough to feel in the countryside. Warm, cosy and fully kitted out.

The lodge offers an à la carte or continental breakfast. We felt absolutely spoiled. We were welcomed with open arms. The staff were outstanding, informatve and very friendly. Although the dinner menu was very limited the quality was 5 star. Accommodation was absolutely immaculate and so comfortable. Will definitely be back even though it was a bit pricey.

At Harbour Lodge Wellington guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. I have lived in and visited Mainland USA, Hawaii, Australia, Pacific islands, New Zealand and Japan and stayed in many hotels. Firstly, Wellington Lodge owners, Chris and Lou, were nice and friendly. They both have traveled to many countries and experienced different peoples, cultures and sites. Secondly, the place is beautiful and clean and is situated in a beautiful setting with gorgeous panoramic views of the Wellington harbor and hills and surroundings. Thirdly, it was winter and the rooms have heating and surprisingly, the bathroom floors are heated! How COOL is that! 🙃 There is free parking on the premises and breakfast is served each morning! We would love to visit again from Japan. The owners, Chris and Lou and Harbour Lodge get a 100/100!

Plenty of parking available. 10/10 customer service! The receptionist was delightful. Shower pressure was powerful. Everything was clean and well stocked. Amazing service that I can’t fault anything. Also upgraded for free too. Amazing restaurants (pho viet best Vietnamese Ive ever had!) supermarket and bus stops are a short walk away

The Boulcott Lodge is located 5 minutes’ drive from historic Petone and is only 15 minutes from central Wellington. It is just a 5-minute walk to both Boulcott Hospital and Hutt Hospital.

Each air conditioned studio or apartment at Boulcott Lodge includes a Smart TV, heating and double-glazed windows. Apartments with a full kitchen, including oven and dishwasher, are available. We loved the accommodation, the friendly staff. Sean was extremely helpful with very thing and hope to stay there again when we come back to NZ. Thank u very much.
