Overall, it was an amazing experience from the beginning until the end. Helpful and friendly staff, knowledgeable about the history of Peru. Great food, magnificent views. Getting to the capsule is an experience of its own. And the capsule itself - I wouldn't believe you could fit so many things there before I saw it myself. 10/10

Die Unterkunft Llactapata Lodge overlooking Machu Picchu - camping - restaurant, die in Salcantay gelegen ist, bietet Bergblick sowie ein Restaurant, einen Zimmerservice, eine Bar, einen Garten und... Das Grundstück ist wunderschön - Die Aussicht, die grasenden Pferde/Mulis, die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe! Wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn und haben in den Liegestühlen entspannt. Vom Bett aus sind die Berge immernoch zum Angreifen nah. Es gab nach der Wanderung eine heiße Dusche und abends ein herzhaftes Abendessen (Popcorn, Suppe, Reisgericht, gegrillte Bananen). Auch das Frühstück war umfangreich (Omlette, Pancakes, Obst...). Wir haben auch Wasser und Süßes für den weiteren Weg bekommen.

Daniel was a superb host who made us feel very welcome and everything was taken care of in detail! He went out of his way to help us during the climb and ziplining! The climb is definitely worth it and the view is spectacular. Thanks also to Keko for the photos and nice companionship!

Die Eco Quechua Lodge ist eine umweltfreundliche Lodge mit einem eigenen Balkon mit Fluss- und Bergblick. Sie können Canopy, Kaffee, Wasserfälle, heiße Quellen und Wanderungen unternehmen. Very calming. Delicious breakfast. The best staff! A wonderful place to connect with nature and yourself.

Die in Pisac gelegene Unterkunft Sonidos del Ande Wasi bietet Bergblick und kostenloses WLAN. Sie ist 36 km von Bahnhof Wanchaq sowie 28 km von Pukapukara entfernt. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war sehr schön und geschmackvoll. Auch hat es eine Küche zum benützen, was ein grosser Pluspunkt ist. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig, die Unterkunft befindet sich ausserhalb von Pisac, aber dafür bietet sie schöne Aussichten und die Nähe zum Parque Arqueologico.

It’s hard to choose what I loved most about Spirit of the River Lodge, everything was truly wonderful. The location is magical and peaceful, with the sound of the river always in the background and barely any traffic passing by. We stayed twice, in two different rooms, and both were beautifully designed, cozy, and offered gorgeous views of the river. You can really feel how thoughtfully everything was created to respect and highlight the natural surroundings. The lodge has a sauna overlooking the river, direct access to the water, and a small yoga shala where I enjoyed my morning practice and reading. Claudia and Rudi were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. They made us feel like family. We had dinner one night and breakfast each morning, and even as vegans, we felt so well cared for. The food was amazing. They also have lovely animals, a llama named Tupac and two sweet dogs, Max and Juanita, who added so much joy to our stay. The area is relaxing but also well located, with easy access to nearby towns and cities. We came back twice because we truly fell in love with the place. I can’t recommend it enough!
