Ronaldo was a caring, charming host. He was attentive to our needs, whilst giving us space to relax and rest our weary bodies. The pool was hot, although we didn’t have time to use it, the place was lovely with well kept plants and flowers and decorations. When we were about to leave, Ronaldo offered us bamboo sticks to walk up the last part of the trek to Cabanaconde. The beds were great with memory foam pillows and warm blankets and it was a relief with the hot shower to clean off the days sweat and dust - with shampoo and conditioner there! The food was good and a really good price, and we were able to stalk up on water and snacks before the trek up.

Super angenehm von den Personen und dem Hotel. Die Bungalows sind super und die Aussicht genial. Das Essen war super verträglich für den Bauch und auch aussergewöhnlich lecker.

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Einfach unglaublich. So eine tolle Lage, die Pools direkt am Fluss, total nette Häuschen als Unterkunft, gutes Essen und der Eigentümer ist der Wahnsinn. Merkt sich alle Namen und sogar wer welches Abendessen bestellt hat. Kann man durchaus auch 2 Nächte verbringen und zwischen Ab- und Aufstieg etwas entspannen.
