Featuring river views, Solar do Cávado in Vieira do Minho features accommodation, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The view was great! The food was good so we didn't have to drive every night for dinner. Bar on premises. Everything was fabulous. Too bad they don't accept dogs. :-(

A sun terrace is available on site and fishing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Penedino Mountain Cottage is a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful spot. The house is picturesque, and the inside is well-equipped, well-maintained, and comfortable. Our unit had a washing machine, very convenient. It is a short walk to the village and Nossa Senhora da Peneda, and great hiking and swimming opportunities are very close by. The Penedino team was friendly, helpful, and responsive.
