The morning view from a terrace was astonishing. Brilliant, not so remote location — despite the closed Bachledka (maintenance for the whole November) and hiking trails (closed from November to the end of May by TANAP), we enjoyed other trails in nearby, scenic viewpoints and a trip to the Belianska cave. Great contact with the owner and contactless access is a massive plus. Ah, and of course, the cottage is well-equipped. It's difficult to see this as something I didn't like about the facility, but Zdiar is a Sleepy Hollow in the off-season, what can be considered as a plus (by us, at least). There is a grocery store nearby, about a 15-minute walk down the road ;) For lazybones or tired after outdoor activities, there's TV and high-speed internet ;) Definitely worth of visit.

The lodge offers a terrace. Benango is one incredible, fenomenal, magical place! ❤️🤗When you sleep there, it feels like in fairytale- motivation for any artist really! I had a stunning view of mountains, long fields, absolute quiet and tasteful fresh air! Oh yes, it actually had a taste! Fresh , crispy air! I was astonished with all this beauty! You can count stars behind stars through the night. Really recommend highly to experience Benango once in life at least! Perfect facilities! - downstairs a huge space for socialising- plus ping-pong, table-football.. all build from tick wood, very natural, beautifully scented by that wood. Two fridges, own cooking, grill in front of the cottage with sitting area, private sauna you can take just for you and your guests. Mengusovce village- very well connected- straight way to mountains or to city next door- for great shopping. Really cannot thing of anything what did not impress me! Even shower- with loads of changing programs- showering in the way you wish… I am so happy I found this Diamond! I will be coming back like bumerang!
