A terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a shared lounge. We loved the location. Getting out of our room and being already on the beach is the best. Also we had a small patio with chairs and table outside of our room which was so comfortable to have if we wanted to sit outside and just talk and listen to the waves. There we had a little pond with water to wash the sand off our feet before getting inside which was so nice to have. More than a room we had like a small apartment with an entrance, a sofa, different places to hang our clothes and the bedroom had two beds. We had so much space, even the bathroom was spacious and everything worked nicely. We loved having a full mirror, small detail but so useful. We also had a small fridge. The restaurant was nice, and the breakfast offer as well. We liked having sunbeds beachfront, but inside the hotel area where beachboys and masaai couldn't get in. They could be very persistent and annoying and follow you for miles until you get in hotel area, which was delimited by a very nice swing. We loved our rooom, we wish we could have stayed more! The location, the size, everything was perfect.

The staff first of all is the most genuine and friendly, from the moment we checked in we felt very welcomed and all our needs were met. The breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely exquisite, everyday is a different variety of options so we were never bored. It was actually my birthday and the staff made sure to have a beautiful celebration that I will never forget. The villa and the amenities are very clean with lovely products. I totally recommend staying here if you are looking for privacy and chill time. They also decorated the room on my birthday with balloons which was really lovely of them 😊

Breakfast was good and delicious / The whole hotel was really beautiful and welcoming, just few steps from the beach. we enjoyed our afternoons relaxing at the property. Our little one enjoyed the pool. Dinner was ala 'carte and again more than enough well cooked and presented ! We liked chatting with the owner during breakfast and dinner, she made her home feel like our home and had many stories from the area to tell! Thank you for everything!

Evergreen Bungalows offers beachfront accommodation in Bwejuu. The property has a private beach area and bike hire and car hire are available. Zanzibar City is 37 km away. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. The location is wonderful, quiet and absolutely relaxing. The bungalow where we stayed did not have all the comforts like an hotel room, but we knew what we were doing when we booked here, we wanted to be immerse in the nature and that was exactly what we got, we even had the pleasure to see a little monkey on our balcony one day. All the people working at Evergreen are super polite and available, the way the treated us was unbelievable, it will be very hard to forget them. The beach in front of Evergreen is not crowded like Paje, and on top of that there are very few beach boys, one day we went in Paje and regretted it because we were stopped every 2 minutes by people trying to sell you something, so we decided to come back at Evergreen. Another crazy thing is the food, litterally everything was delicious, and we tried almost the entire menu during our stay. Also we cannot fail to mention Alawi, he will be your point of reference for every tour around the island, we did many tours thanks to him, and he was so sweet to give us gifts the day we left, so we really cannot forget him, and also Yusuf (our driver) which we fell in love with. This place really left something in our heart and in our memories. If we’d ever come back to Zanzibar this is the only place where we’d want to stay. A huge thank you goes also to Claudia and Mustafa, they did a wonderful job at Evergreen you can fell their love for this place, and on top of that they were very helpful. It is impossibile to not drop some tears the day you leave.
