Offering garden views, Langa Langa Safari Camp - Inc 2 Kruger Safaris Daily in Sabi Sand Game Reserve offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Fantastic staff. The main caretaker, Kaley, is great when it comes to customer service. She made sure our stay was comfortable and even went out of the way to pack picnic sandwiches for us when we wanted to venture out on our own. The safari guide, Floid, is very knowledgeable, and if you stay for 2-3 days, he'll make sure you see every type of animal you had on your wish list. These guys include 1 complimentary safari per night of your stay (so if you stay for 3 nights, 3 safaris are inclusive), and I feel it's the best package because a couple of self drives in Kruger are a must do in my opinion, just for the thrill of it. The tents are quite comfortable and have all the amenities you'd expect in a luxurious hotel room. The AC works well (believe me, you NEED it if you visit in the summers like we did), the pool is clean, the bathrooms are great. The food was superlative - we had exotic 3 course complimentary dinners every single evening. I suggest booking a minimum of 3 days to really get the most out of Kruger.

With Orpen Gate reachable in 40 km, Lion Tree Top Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation has a hot tub.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. A special experience was staying at the Lion Tree Top Lodge in the Greater Kruger Park. At night you hear the lions roar, the hyenas call and the monkeys jump on the roof and terrace of your lodge. In the morning while you are under the outdoor shower you see the impalas and springboks pass by. During the day with a nice glass of wine by the pool you see the zebras drinking from the pond nearby. And close to the resort you can see the giraffes walk. A very special experience to see all those animals pass by your lodge. In the evening we had a very nice meal around the cozy campfire in the boma together with the super sweet hosts Brian and Lynn. The lodges are beautiful and equipped with all the necessities, separated from each other by wooden paths that provide the necessary privacy. So the resort seemed all to yourself. No mass tourism here like with the accommodations in the Kruger Park. In short, a real African bush experience in this small-scale, cozy resort, which was a highlight of our road trip through South Africa, thanks in part to Brian and Lynn.

The chalets are equipped with a clothing rack, solar powered lamps, mosquito nets and en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower. Water at the camp is gas-heated. Absolutely everything about Africa on Foot is amazing. Staff are attentive, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. They truly make the the place what it is. Outstanding hospitality (best we have had). Facilities are clean and tastefully decorated. Food.. Just Wowwww! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always a treat. The pools were beautifully located and clean. The rooms were spacious. The morning walks were such a treat. The guides are first class and work hard to show you as much as possible, whilst also giving you interesting information about then bush and its animals. The arvo/night drives were out of this world. We saw soooo much. Lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, hippos, giraffes, hyenas, antelopes, birds!! And much much more. This place is a must. Don't hesitate to book. We wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights.

The tented chalets situated within the main lodge area come with a deck and a seating area. Certain chalets are equipped with a bath, shower and free toiletries, while one chalet, known as chiDanga, is equipped with an en suite shower which opens onto the deck. This is the most beautiful place to spend time. We loved our chalet, it was a real bush life experience but it was cosy, clean and luxurious. We loved seeing the animals from our balcony and listening to them as we fell asleep. The staff are truly outstanding. We felt so taken care of. Our room was spotless and serviced every day. We were transferred to and from the airport and they even set up a special dinner to celebrate our honeymoon with Muweti bubbles! The food was delicious and it was such a treat to sit around the fire and have Hardus and Niel cook for us. They are both amazing guides and we learnt so much from them, from Valeria as well! Thank you to the whole team for making our first safari unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Situated along the Olifants River, Bushriver Lodge features two swimming pools and a large deck with BBQ facilities. There is also a communal lounge and bar area, as well as a fully-equipped, shared kitchen. Just an amazing retreat. Wonderful location, easy to self cater in well equipped wonderful communal rooms. Lilly who welcomed us was great and super helpful. Watching a Croc and Hippo drinking sundowners on the deck, then seeing a Giraffe on the track made life long memories.
