Rooiberg Lodge is 156 km from George Airport. Restaurant, staff and grounds were all immaculate. The area is remote and quiet. The accommodations here make the trip worthwhile! The service by all the staff was incredible.

We literally skipped the morning game drive on our last day to enjoy the room a bit longer The reserve itself is huge and we had very interesting game drives with a very experienced guide. An absolute must go when in South Africa

From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!

Calitzdorp Railway Station is 41 km from the lodge, while Ladismith Golf Club is 11 km away. George Airport is 154 km from the property. Very nice chalet with wonderfull view. Also a good place for more than one night :) Thank you for water, firewood and the warm and cozy chalet.
