Vanessa and Derek are amazing hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The nearby Botrivier Lagoon and Rooisand Nature Reserve are excellent for hiking or walking, relaxing and birdwatching.

The lodge features a splash pool and uninterrupted views of Gansbaai harbour, Walker Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains. We stayed here overnight after our whale watching boat trip. Tranquail place overlooking the bay. The staff, the manager and the owner were super friendly and welcoming. The family suite was comfortable, open to the property little garden and swimming pool. It would have been an even lovelier place in summer. Wish we could stay longer
