The pool is really nice, sunset views from the water and the surrounding area is great. It has a sunrise viewing area just a few mins walk and then a great walking trail right from the lodge (about an hour walk). Thank you to Martie, Ben, chef and all the team - this lodge is stunning!

We also appreciated the convenience of the breakfast baskets, which allowed us to enjoy delicious meals even with our early starts. The Bohemian decor of the lodge added a unique charm to our stay, making it both cozy and visually appealing. The romantic dinner our host arranged was a highlight of our trip. The beautiful decoration and intimate setting created a memorable evening for us. To top it all off, the lodge's unique location allowed us to experience wildlife up close, as we had the amazing opportunity to encounter a duiker and even a giraffe right at the lodge! Additionally, the lodge's location is very close to Hoedspruit airport and many reserves, making it an ideal place to stay. On the last day of our stay, we had a luxurious breakfast at the lodge, adding a touch of elegance to our experience. Overall, the value for money at African Flair is exceptional. The attentive service and the host's dedication to planning everything for us made our stay truly special.
