The lodge provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Some units feature a balcony and/or a patio with river views. Gorgeous and relaxing. My husband and I had an amazing time.

Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. This stay was unplanned and booked last minute. And we didn´t regret it! Tasty food, great wine and a lodge with a view over the game farm. The 2 game tours (evening and morning) ,included into the room rate, are fascinating. We saw all big 5, except leopard, but therefore Cheetahs on the hunt.

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. We enjoyed everything about our stay at Riverside. Albert and Elza were amazing hosts that have an exceptional attention for detail, we have rarely seen such high level of hospitality! The room was extremely clean, we received small snacks at our arrival we really appreciated, the honesty bar was the cherry on top, together with the big terrace and the stunning view to relax and have a beer. We also received great recommendations for restaurants.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Breakfast was outstanding as was dinner. Willem was an exceptional host Loved seeing all the game.... they interrupted our dinner which was delightful but it landed up being a bit drawn out after a long days travel.

Situated in Cederberg in the Western Cape region, Mount Ceder features accommodation with free private parking.

The lodge offers an à la carte or Full English/Irish breakfast. The restaurant at Mount Ceder specialises in local cuisine. This lodge is set in a beautiful location. We loved just opening our eyes in the morning and having the first thing we see be a mountain view. The homes are designed perfectly for a family vacation with ample space and privacy for everyone. We enjoyed the large veranda and wood fired hot tub. The beds are comfy and the linens soft and of good quality. The staff were so friendly and helpful for planning our days. They also stored our luggage on the check-out day so we could continue to explore. We stayed 2 nights, but wish we had stayed at least three or more to really enjoy everything in the area. We highly recommend this lodge. It costs bit more than others in Cederberg area, but it was worth every penny. This is an amazing place to unwind and see another environment after visiting Cape Town. There is a visceral peacefulness about the place that makes it quite unique. We would definitely return to this lodge if we are in the area again. Loved it!!
