10 points go to the staff - very welcoming, attentive and kind. The hotel is also in a very picturesque place, rooms are spacious and well equipped. SPA area is not big, but has many things to offer. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Schider. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very nice, with options for every taste. The ability to use the kitchen in the evening is great and comes in very handy! The location is good, with walking distance to the centre of Bad Gastein, skibus stops practically in front of the hotel and there are enough parking spots to leave your car. We definitely recommend the stay in the Schider.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The room had a spacious terrace, and during the summer nights it was pleasantly cool for sleeping. The gondola is located right next to the hotel, which is extremely convenient. The staff were kind, friendly, and always willing to help.

An absolute perfection of a hotel!!! Family run with so much love and pride! No idea where to begin… our room, or more to say: an apartment, was beautifully positioned overlooking the Dorfgastein valley. It was so comfortable in every way. We spent Christmas here and it was magical! The hotel organised a celebration with singing carols and champagne on Christmas Eve. Gifts too! Felt like being part of the family. We met so many people at the party, many of them come visit every year. Spa area was exquisite!!! I can talk about it until tomorrow, it was a dream! Thank you for such an amazing stay, can’t wait to be back♥️

Our room was big and clean always. The food was exceptionally delicious and the employees are the nicest and friendliest we have ever experienced! We have been to many hotels in Austria and around the world, but these have been so far the best. We felt at home, our needs were met. They would even warm food for our toddler and would make suggestions for his food incase the kids menu was not what he could eat. They always found solutions to accommodate him too. This is a hotel that we will definitely visit again. Thats has never been the case. My toddler fell in love with Julia. She was amazing.. We didn't feel uneasy with the kids if they were hyper, the employees would indulge them and this would distract the kids. They didn't react irritated, they were welcoming. For the first time I found a cook who knows how to make Lamb meat. Yummy and delicious food. We were greeted and welcomed at the reception like VIPs. The beds were comfortable, the play room was really nice and we loved the table they selected for us during our stay. Amazing hotel, amazing team, everything was amazing. We loved it and wished we had booked longer. There are shops and cafés also in the area so incase one wants to shop or chill somewhere else, it's available. Best place for families. Weiter so...

The staff was super kind and helpful, felt welcome from the very first moment. Great location - 300m from the ski lift - clean and cosy rooms with great view. Three choices for dinner menu and last but least the thermarium (sauna) is spectacular.

Offering panoramic views over the Salzach Valley, this elegant, Alpine-style 4-star superior hotel is right next to the ski slopes of Alpendorf.

We love this area - probably the 10th time we have visited. A wonderful hotel with fabulous staff that genuinely seemed to care. The food was spectacular and accompanied by some good quality house wines. The hotel has a beautiful spa that we used every day and was usually empty/v quiet. The hotel's ski hire was excellent with a very knowledgeable man in charge - I hired the best skis I've ever used.
