Amazing local hotel / homestay for a quick retreat. Location: slightly out of central town in Yangshou (5min drive). Personally this is exactly what we wanted, a mini retreat to relax. Several restaurants including a restaurant built into a cave right nearby. Rooms: we stayed in a mountain view king room which was awesome, 'instragrammable', spacious with big bathtub, adjustable AC, and projector tv. It was very clean and modern with top to bottom glass windows so you wake to a beautiful view of mountains. Staff: This isn't a chain or resort, so the service is more personable. You'll become acquainted with them in no time. Promptly responded to WeChat messages. Very friendly and extremely accommodating. We had a issue when we first checked in with some construction noise - which the staff immediately addressed and this was greatly appreciated. Food: 'Western' style restaurant serving comfort food which was good and honestly a nice pace chance having travelled china for several weeks now. Cafe: perhaps one of the highlights is the treehouse cafe on level 5 - which has stunning views and great coffee. Value: room was on the expensive side compared to other places we stayed in China, albiet we booked the most expensive room type. We definitely got what we paid for. Other: the pool was out of service during most of our stay but personally this isn't something we'd use anyway. they also assisted us to use the laundry which was great as laundries seem hard to find in mainland China. Throughout our time here, we only had to leave the hotel once really, to go watch the Impressions show. Everything else was well catered to by the hotel or it's near surroundings. Would strongly recommend staying here during your visit to Yangshou, especially if you're looking for a place to get some rest and recovery.

The hotel is right by the Li River and very quiet. The service of the hotel is very considerate. What surprised me was that all of them could speak English, which is quite rare in hotels in China. This made our trip in Yangshuo very easy. They solved all our travel problems for us.

The 90-degree high-temperature laundry service is, without a doubt, a game-changer. We were able to pack light, knowing we could properly sanitize and refresh our entire wardrobe in a few hours. This level of cleanliness extends throughout the property; the offer of sealed, disposable towels and bath towels was a modern touch we've rarely seen and highly valued. The gym allowed us to maintain our routine, and the extensive breakfast buffet provided sustained energy for long days of hiking and cycling. The convenience of having a quality restaurant on-site for a simple, delicious dinner after an exhausting day cannot be overstated. This hotel understands the needs of the modern, hygiene-conscious traveler and delivers impeccable service and facilities.

Located between the mountains and rivers, the design of the whole hotel is also very poetic and picturesque. The geographical location of the hotel is very good. Just by the Yulong River, you can also see the bamboo raft slowly passing by. And it's full of fairy spirit. Open-air swimming pool. Here you can hear the chirping of cicadas in the distance and feel the fresh breath of the mountains. If it's a rainy day, it will be even more comfortable~ Staying in the room and listening to the sound of rain is also a way to enjoy.

It is one of the best hotels that you can book. I booked this hotel just because of the view that you have from the window. It's a bit pricey considering that with that money you can book 4/5star hotels in the main cities but as I said the view was wow. Initially I booked 2 rooms that, from booking.com, were supposed to have the best view but when I arrived there the staff made me realise that there was another room with a better view, and because it was occupied for the first night, they upgraded one of our room to the better one for free from the second night. Let me tell you that the guys at the reception (Zhou Si Lan and Shi Chunlei) were amazing. They were very helpful. The hotel, being just outside the town, offers 2 free rides per day to the town or surrounding area with a radius of 5 km. Also, at the reception you can book some of the attractions with a discount. In front of the hotel, you can ride horses or rent quads and go around. Also, the rest of the people working at the hotel, like cleaners and waiters, were very friendly and kind. In the evening, they were asking us if we wanted a Chinese breakfast or western breakfast for the next day, and I think this was very kind. The rooms were very clean and at the reception there were 2 cute small dogs. Also, they have a washing machine and a dryer. So far, it is one of the best hotels that I booked in China. A huge thank you to the people working there.

The room is to die for - wonderful. The view is just perfection and I love the floor to ceiling windows. Air conditioning works like a charm. Scooter rental is also a huge perk - the staff was super helpful on that. They also got us tickets for the Impressions show. We drove a scooter (with a charging break) to the tea plantation though which I highly recommend!

I thought I have stayed in the best hotel of the most beautiful country in China. The scenery around the hotel is simply amazing and the hotel's butler service is very thoughtful that provided me with a lot of travel suggestions, thanks a lot. The hotel is located in the Li River where can directly contact the life of the local people, showed me the charm of China. Recommend travelers to stay in this hotel.
