Very nice design overall and well thought out. I found out that this used to be a jail where many Jews were imprisoned. While the leaning into the prison details nice design-wise, I'm not sure it's considerate. However, its functioning as a hotel overall is pretty impeccable from form to functions. While there's a surcharge for dogs, it's the only hotel we've been to that actually set up a nice little corner for our pup with bed/mat, bowls and a bag of treats. It's such nice little details.

We liked everything. New, neat and cosy apartment in quiet neighborhood, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower cabin, comfortable beds, parking space in underground garage. But the main element is a friendly and caring host.

A really homely, comfortable place to stay, in an excellent location. The apartment had everything we needed, so peaceful. All the amenities were accessible and we were able to explore the Black Forest easily based there.

Everything about this place was perfect! The location was great for exploring the Alcase region, the Black forest and Europapark but we had a car. It was spotless clean, big enough to fit a family of 4 or even 5, and so peaceful and quiet. The landlords were staying in the ground floor but were very kind and discreet. Thank you for the bottle of sparkling water! We used the balcony to relax after a day of exploring and took a stroll around the neighborhood to the little, village within walking distance. A/C was a plus ever thought we didn't use it as the temperature was very mild even in July. Window, mosquito screens were a plus and so were the shutters to block the morning light. I would stay there again if visiting the region.
