The traditional approach to maintain the highest standards..
Chef's kitchen was excellent, as were the staff.

What a great location! Right beside the river and easy walking distance into Banchory. The ‘sitooterie’ (outside veranda) was a great place for a cocktail (tailored made!) and the staff were very polite and friendly. Breakfast was superb, and I loved all the use of colour!

Very friendly and helpful staff (David= 5*), beautifully clean and tastefully decorated room full of luxury amenities. The food was excellent! Views are absolutely gorgeous. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful old country house, tastefully decorated with a fun modern flair. Bed was very comfortable, very spacious bedroom and bathroom, food is top quality and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. The grounds are lovely and well kept, and the hotel is on the banks of the confluence of 2 rivers. It's stunning.

Absolutely superb stay; efficient, friendly, knowledge staff; delicious food and a wonderfully comfortable and beautiful room with everything in it you could possibly need.

The location is superb and very quiet. Pippa the host is also very welcoming. There is a log fire with logs which made the property nice and cosy.
