An absolutely lovely place to stay. Could not fault it at all. It is run very professionally and all staff are terrific. Breakfasts are fantastic. Guests feel very comfortable and it doesn't take long to relax. Highly recommended.

The Chudleigh is located close to Clacton-on-Sea's pier, seafront and shopping centre.

The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and I would definitely like to visit again.

Sea View Cottage is a lovely, modern, clean and delightfully warm cottage within minutes of the beach. It is well equipped, the beds are so comfortable and the welcome drinks, cake and mince pies were very much appreciated. We didn't use the garden (we stayed across Christmas) but looking out on it was really pleasant, the home is not overlooked and is in a really quiet spot. That said, it is about a 10 minute walk to the shopping centre where there are lovely local bakeries and a small Sainsbury's. We left some small items behind and Jo could not have been more helpful in immediately putting them in the post for us. What a little gem!

I have spent a night here on the occasion of my other half's birthday and requested for birthday banner and balloons to be provided before the arrival and to our surprise, they have added a little touch of adding a present too!! The location was very central yet overlooked a park and the sea. We received a very warm welcome from Jayne who did everything to ensure we were comfortable. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom looked brand new, partly due to high standards of cleanliness throughout and partly because it was almost brand new. The dining room was light, bright and airy and the breakfast excellent, catering for our very fussy diets!!! Would highly recommend this wonderful b & b.
