I have to review Maison Perumal for the wonderful experience we had, we stayed 6 nights. It is a haven in the old Tamil quarter, but easily to walk to the beachfront and White town. Food is lovingly prepared. Great Bfast, juices, eggs, dosas, idlis, pastries and fruit, and great coffee. The building is 150yrs old and has been beautifully restored, plants surround you, everything is made with wood and local materials, and my first time staying in a hotel where there is no plastic. The bed and room was beautiful, everything so clean. The staff are so friendly and professional we did not want for anything. Thank you Barti, Jayson,Elby, Sami Sunil and all the staff.

A good large swimming pool with a good clean water.The rooms were spacious and the had power back as well.They maintained it very well both swimming pool and the room. The location is near Auroville shopping area.The location is very peaceful and environment was so beautiful and calm.

The property is a charming boutique hotel with old-world charm. The staff were friendly, and the room was large and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep, and a decent breakfast from a reasonable selection of food. There was a lovely pool, too. The location was great, too--in the middle of the French quarters, and close to, but not too close to the beach, which was pretty noisy during the Christmas Eve celebrations. A great experience, overall.
