Amazing and luxurious hotel. Spread over a large area with a large lobby and seating area. Huge rooms decorated in a traditional and modern style. The hot Onsen bath on the balcony is great fun especially on snowy nights like the one we spent. Excellent breakfast - a large selection with dishes from Japanese and Western cuisine. Great staff that provides professional, friendly and pleasant service.

Set less than 1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Oni no Sumika offers 5-star accommodation in Izu and features a garden. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

The property is spacious and luxurious. We liked the way the buildings are connected and the common places. There was one place were could enjoyed unlimited drinks and snacks. The decoration was warm and cosy, helping us relaxing more. The facility offered free transport from and towards Gora station which made it easier to reach. Our room was just as the photos. We had plenty of space, comfy beds, many free amenities, yukatas and more. The staff was friendly and very polite. If we knew that our experience would be so amazing, we would have stayed another night.

An amazing relaxing hotel. Excellent customer service. The breakfast and dinner meals were very high quality and service was again excellent. Shuttle bus to collect you from local ropeway/bus as hotel is quite a walk from public transport.

Very luxurious! Loved the welcome drinks/snacks upon arrival to enjoy the footbath at the bar. We enjoyed dressing up in the kimonos and enjoying the facilities. Only confusing thing was the translation describing the "bedrock bath", which was actually a hot stone sauna, not a bath.

Atami Izusan Karaku provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 24 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station and 32 km of Shuzen-ji Temple.
